Halloween Mani

I wore this to match a ghost shirt I wore with fringe black shorts but then didn't get any pics of my oufit. Blah. Or should I say boo?

My left hand thumb had a copy of the shirt ghost, then a Jack O Lantern face, a black dot to make an eye, Jack Skellington's face and a Nightmare Before Christmas tree on the pinky.

My right hand had the same designs, just moved around a bit.

My thumb is gonna get the city!

I used:
Claire's - Snowball
Wet N' Wild Wild Shine - Black Creme

Revlon - Facets Of Fuschia

Another title that would work good with this? I Want Your Cheap, Your Cheap Romance. This is known to be a dupe for Debra Lippman - Bad Romance. I've been wanting it but at $18 a pop, it's a bit expensive. A bit? Heck, most of the polishes I buy are under $3, so let's make that REALLY expensive.

The only thing I have to say about this is for some reason it didn't seem to cover my tips. I dunno what's up with that. So it looks like I have tip wear in these but it was like that from when I put it on.

Espresso Pumpkin Spice

Here's the perfect Fall mani, it reminds me more to Thanksgiving than Halloween, but it's still perfect for the Season. Bonus points for the delicious sounding name! I love when polish names match up good. :]

I used:
Revlon - Espresso
Sally Hansen - Pumpkin Spice

Summer Green & Pink

Hey guys, here's a mani I wore out to hang out with some relatives visiting from out of state.
Favorite pizza place + the mall = excellent day out. Messing around with the cousins on a coin operated Merry-Go-Round for kids? EVEN MORE EXCELLENT.

I used:
Sinful Colors - Irish Green
2012 Max Makeup Cherimoya - Immortal

Pink Leopard

Here's another pink animal print mani that I did to match my clothes. I actually got a compliment on it. By a guy too! Guys who can appreciate pink leopard must be pretty cool. This might be the first time I've gotten complemented on something with art and not just something simple.

See the lighter stamping on the pinky? That was done with regular Hot Topic black creme polish. My Konad Special Black Polish got realllllly thick so I tried the Hot Topic and then tried mixing the two, which worked. So if your stamping polish is thick you can add a similar thinner color to it to make it useable!

I used Sinful Colors - Bianca for the base
a mix of Konad Black Special Polish and Hot Topic Black creme
Pure Ice - Crush for the pink spots

Go Shawty, It's Your Birthday!

Hey guys! My birthday was last week so I decided to try painting cupcakes on my nails. I really liked how these turned out.

Blurred so you can see how shiny it is!

Santee - Light Nude
Santee - Base Coat
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - Mint Sprint (cupcake cup)
Claire's - Snowball (cupcake frosting)
Love & Beauty - Red (cherry)
Santee - Pink Speckle (used over nude nail and white frosting)

I love how Pink Speckle toned down how stark the white looked. It's this pretty pink base with both small round and bar silver glitter. The bars looked like sprinkles! <3 it!

This is the first bday mani. I've got plans to celebrate with my cousins soon, so I might try to do some other fun nail art. Hey I'm happy Slaughterhouse officially signed with Shady Records last week too. I told ya, I'm into hip hop, good lyrical hip hop. That plus all the nice texts and messages I got from friends and family made my week!

Stylish Blogger Award!

I've just received my first ever award from the awesome Danielle at Polish Obsessed. Thanks so much! As a new blogger, any kind of mention helps a lot!

1. Thank and link the person who gave you the award
2. Share 7 things about yourself
3. Award 15 recently discovered great bloggers
4. Contact these bloggers and tell them about the award.
7 Things About Me:
1. I rap. Which usually surprises people. I absolutely love hip hop and I go for that real lyrical stuff, I love a good punchline and metaphor. Which again, usually surprises people.
2. Nobody can ever guess what my background is, but I'm Dutch-Indonesian & French. I LOVE Indonesian food, it's just the best! :]
3. I love fashion and I think putting together pieces to make a unique outfit is fun.
4. Same with makeup, it's a way to express yourself and be artsy.
5. I love animals. In fact I pretty much love anything cute.
6. I make lyrics out of what I go through and my business gets put out there a lot, but I'm a pretty private person. Which is why my Twitter often gets neglected!
7. I'm learning to play the guitar. Most of my uncles know how and they're in a band, so I *should* be able to figure this out right?

Whew! I guess since I never did a proper intro post and I don't know what to write in profiles, I can let people know a lil more about me.

I don't have 15 recently discovered nail blogs, so here's what I got. If you have a nail blog or know someone who does, let me know!

Merry Christmas!

Here is the long overdue Christmas mani. I call this one "the little mani that could" because I think I rocked the red and green tips for most of December, then added Milani Gems on the thumbs to try it out, then finally put red & green glitter polish from Santee on Christmas morning.

Love & Beauty - Red (red tips)
Love & Beauty - Teal (green tips)
Milani - Gems (thumbs)
Santee - Peacock Green Glitter (above red tips)
Santee - Fuchsia Glitter (above green tips)

These Love & Beauty polishes have no names on the bottle but there's a name on the price tag. Red is more of a sheer red jelly with red glitter in it. Teal is more of a dark green with shimmer.

This Christmas was really fun, but the night before was hectic. Waiting till Christmas Eve to start your wrapping ain't a good idea. Then I baked cookies too, but didn't get any pics of them. Oh well, at least everything worth it cause we all had fun!
